While you’re browsing Italy’s off the beaten path little pretty cities, you’ll undoubtedly encounter the lovely town of Brescia. There are quite a few reasons to visit, but one of them is the wonderful hotel in the heart of Brescia – Centro Paolo VI Brescia.

Location, Location, Location
The hotel is actually located within the palace of Centro Paolo VI. It is only a minute away from the lovely Pinacoteca Tosio Martinengo, which you absolutely shouldn’t skip while you’re in Brescia. It’s just a few minutes away from the vibrant city centre and central walking alley. I don’t think you can find a hotel with a better location than this in Brescia!
The Art Is Mesmerizing
I am an art lover, so seeing spectacular renaissance paintings while strolling the halls of Centro Paolo VI Brescia was a dream come true. This art center is so lovely – not just the architecture in the halls that makes for your perfect Instagram photo, but the art itself.
This Brescia hotel is the perfect combination of authentic Italian style and art and modern amenities. For example, I loved that there was a self-bar (vending machine) where you could get a snack or drink at any time of the day and night! And this little room was right next to the spectacular staircase that will steal your heart away.
The Garden Is Perfect
Most of the famous Italian cities are so packed with hotels and sights that not very many of the affordable hotels can brag with having a garden. However, if you get the garden-view room at Centro Paolo VI Brescia, you’ll be waking up like a Disney princess – birds singing, the sun rays illuminating your room (if you didn’t pull the drapes, that is, though!). The garden is absolutely lovely and definitely one of my favorite things about this hotel.
In addition, if you go during the warmer months, you can absolutely have breakfast right in the garden, and you might even get the feeling that a little mouse will bring you bread, while sparrows pour your tea 😀 It is indeed that dreamy! But, after all, you’re sleeping in a palace, what else did you expect? 😉 And I’d just like to mention that the busboy at breakfast was extremely funny and friendly, talk to him and you’ll have a blast!
The Rooms Are Cozy
The rooms are very cozy and quiet. At first, it actually felt a bit hard to navigate through the hotel itself, as there are a few corners to turn. However, you will get familiarized pretty quickly and be able to find your room even if you’ve partied hard in the city of Brescia 🙂 We had a garden-view suite and it was absolutely delightful! Centro Paolo VI Brescia has different rooms for different budgets, but rest assured – the comfort and cleanliness is impeccable, no matter which one you choose!
The Prices – Affordable Luxury
One of the main reasons I would consider this hotel if I wasn’t invited as a guest, is the price to luxury ratio. And honestly, the prices for a double room (breakfast included) start at 85 EUR per night – and don’t forget you’re actually sleeping in a palace! Even the standard rooms are comfy enough for you to enjoy both the hotel and the city of Brescia. Moreover, you’ll find that even the self-bar (vending machine) has super affordable prices, as compared to most hotel lobbies. When you take into consideration the location, art, comfort and cleanliness, this price is definitely a bargain. In addition, you’ll find a lot of awesome deals on their website, so you can get a room for an even better price!
