Are you dreaming of an authentic Tuscan experience while visiting Florence? Look no further than “Your Place In Florence” that holds both Palazzo San Niccolo & Palazzo Belfiore for you! Authentic experience is not just the food or the Instagrammable places – it’s also where you stay!
Your Place In Florence should definitely be your first choice when choosing accommodation in Florence. Unless you’re looking to stay in a cheap hostel, most actual hotels and AirBNBs start at 100-120 EUR per night. It’s true, hotels in Florence are indeed pricey, so why not spend your few precious euros on accommodation that is actually authentic?
Palazzo Belfiore’s motto is “Your home away from home” and indeed, it definitely has that homey feel, combined with the lovely Florentine style. Here’s why you’ll love it:
The Apartments Are A Few Minutes From The Main Attractions In Florence
Palazzo Pitti is right at your doorstep, and Ponte Vecchio is a 5-minute walk away. The Boboli gardens are located just behind Palazzo Pitti, so your morning idyllic walk will be complete easily! And of course, the breathtaking Duomo Di Firenze is also pretty close – only a 10-minute walk <3
They Have All Amenities You Need
One of the things I loved about Palazzo Belfiore was the attention to detail – they had coffee and tea (trust me, these smelled heavenly!) in the kitchen area, as well as a complimentary bottle of water and wine. And, well, they also had welcome cookies, and if that doesn’t win you over, I don’t know what will! 😀 Our lovely room actually had two bathrooms, which is perfect for 3-4 people staying.
I hope it’s not just me, but I’m an absolute sucker for tiny Italian streets! And Palazzo Belfiore is not only at the heart of Florence, but at the heart of these tiny gorgeous streets. Once you open up the drapes in the morning and see that view, you’ll feel like you’re in the Renaissance <3
Different Types Of Rooms To Suit Your Needs
There are many different types of rooms, so if you just contact Federico directly at email@example.com, he will help you choose the one to best suit your needs. Federico, the host, is extremely nice and will do everything he can to make your stay pleasurable. Due to lack of availability, we stayed at both Palazzo Belfiore and Palazzo San Niccolo, and Federico moved our suitcases for us! I’ve never had such a great host, and you’ll see yourself that the guestbook is full of grateful and happy people! If you like Palazzo Belfiore for your your Florence accommodation, visit their website to find out more.
Palazzo San Niccolo
Palazzo San Niccolo is a very lovely residence on the same side of the Arno river as Palazzo Belfiore. However, it’s just a tiny bit further – about a 10-minute walk from Ponte Vecchio. The neighborhood, however, is very calm, and here are a few other reasons why Palazzo San Niccolo would suit you better as your Florence accommodation:
If you know me, you’ll know I am absolutely in love with hotel gardens! <3 And I definitely think the garden is what you’ll also love the most about Palazzo San Niccolo. The center of Florence is pretty packed with buildings, landmarks and hotels, so it’s pretty rare to find an actual garden within the hotel premises (unless you’re willing to pay over 1000 EUR per night). The garden of Palazzo San Niccolo is perfect for you to have your morning Italian coffee in the summer or to have a relaxed afternoon with a book.
Unlike Palazzo Belfiore, Palazzo San Niccolo has a pretty big lounge. You can always find coffee, tea and different small snacks there! Especially during the winter, the lounge is a great option for you – one of its corners is so luminant, that you can cuddle up with a cup of tea on a chilly winter afternoon.
The most impressive thing for me in the lounge, however, was the tiny library! You just need to climb up, grab a book, and you can even enjoy the view from over there. I didn’t see it get too crowded, which was one of the best things about this little corner full of magic.
One of the best things about Palazzo San Niccolo is that there is always something going on! Just ask Federico and he can help you plan a group event or even a writer’s retreat (which I am so sad to have missed by a few days when I was there!). There is a very lovely conference room that can double as a ballroom for you to transform a day event into an evening one. This Florence hotel has multiple rooms, so don’t worry, your group will fit easily!
If you’d like to spend a few days in that lovely Florence residence, visit the website of Palazzo San Niccolo or drop an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org .
So, which is the hotel you should choose in order to have the best experience in Florence? Well, both Palazzo Belfiore and Palazzo San Niccolo are pretty amazing and at a very reasonable price. Each of the residences belonging to Your Place In Florence is unique and offers different benefits for you! I did love both so much, that I’m having a hard time deciding which one I’ll stay at once I go back to Florence 🙂
