Let’s face it, the main reason you’ll want to visit Koh Phi Phi is the beaches! The beaches in some Thai islands are pretty great, but not as many as you think will be that dreamy. Holiday Inn is the Phi Phi hotel that will absolutely not disappoint – the beach on the east side of the island is as good as it gets! Forget the crowded Maya Bay, it might be worth seeing, but it’s never great swimming with 5 people within just a meter around you.
Holiday Inn Phi Phi has also taken measures to make your Phi Phi hotel experience unique – there are a few hammocks and even swings on the beach! What better way to spend an afternoon?
2. It Is Secluded – No Drunk Backpackers!
Okay, I am guilty of visiting Phi Phi in high season. These islands can get so crowded that your whole vacation can be ruined in a matter of minutes! We are all dreaming of the perfect secluded beach, and Holiday Inn is the Phi Phi hotel that will offer you just that. You can only reach this hotel and its bay by a boat from Phi Phi’s ferry terminal, which for me was the best part. There are only a handful of hotels in that area, and they are well spread out, so that you wouldn’t need to share the perfect turquoise waters with other tourists.
Just for reference – a very good friend of mine just told me that you could often be seeing tourists being carried in stretchers around! Imagine how wild the backpackers can get in Thailand and multiply it by 3.
3. Holiday Inn Phi Phi Is Perfect For Couples And Families
Most of the time I travel with my husband. And while we enjoy sightseeing, swimming and snorkeling, we also like to get a good night’s sleep. Holiday Inn in Phi Phi is definitely a perfect place to relax and forget the typical tourist noises of Thailand. We stayed at the Ocean Sunset Pool Villa, which was so quiet and amazing, we never wanted to leave!
If you are travelling with kids, you are in luck – kids stay and eat for free in Holiday Inn Phi Phi! How great is that? In addition, you can leave your little one Kid’s Club or enjoy the Kid’s Pool with them.
4. You Can Watch Both Sunset And Sunrise Over Water
My hometown is very VERY close to the beach. However, as the Black Sea is on our East border, we never get to see a sunset over water. Thus, I always look for hotels that HAVE sunset over water, as it is one of the most spectacular things while visiting Asia! Holiday Inn is one of the handful hotels in Phi Phi that can offer you both – sunset AND sunrise over the water. The West side of the island, where our Ocean Sunset Pool Villa was, even has a bar & restaurant with an infinity pool overlooking the sunset! The West side is pretty high up, unlike the east side, so the infinity pool is just gorgeous.
The East side of Holiday Inn Phi Phi offers that spectacular turquoise beach which is great for swimming and snorkeling. There is another bar there, where you can enjoy a fresh coconut while chilling in the shade.
5. It Has A House Reef!
Just take a few short steps outside of your wonderful bungalow, and you’ll find yourself not just on one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. Rather, you’ll have the great opportunity to explore the underwater world of Phi Phi!
The Phi Phi islands are definitely one of the most fascinating places in the world for snorkeling, and having a reef like that right at your fingertips is definitely one of the reasons to choose Holiday Inn as your Phi Phi hotel!
6. It’s Full Of Activities
Maya Bay is that famous paradise spot from the movie “The Beach”. So, no wonder that when you think of the perfect beach, it’s exactly Maya Bay that pops into your mind! It’s actually located in Koh Phi Phi Leh (so on a different island), and you can only get there by a long-tail boat. Luckily, Holiday Inn Phi Phi offers you day trips to gorgeous places around the Phi Phi islands! Did you know there are actually 6 islands? Each one is so gorgeous and unique, you won’t regret any day trips if you choose this Phi Phi hotel! <3
7. Multiple Restaurants To Choose From
Very few hotels around Phi Phi can brag that they have multiple restaurants, and this is one of the main reasons to choose Holiday Inn as your Phi Phi hotel. The Cha Bah Restaurant offers you the unique experience of having lunch or dinner with your toes buried in the soft sand, which was honestly my favorite! It has a diverse menu with both international and Thai food at your disposal. The spring rolls and crab we tried were absolutely amazing, I highly recommend them.
The Tai Rom Prao Restaurant is your best choice if you love buffet – breakfast is so diverse (loved all of the yummy fruits!), while there are various theme-night dinners throughout the week. I promise you, you’ll fall in love with the atmosphere of this place!
The Sunset Restaurant is just what you’d imagine it to be – overlooking the waters from a high cliff with an amazing view of the infinity pool, don’t miss having dinner here! After you’ve had a drink at the nearby Sunset Bar, this restaurant will serve you delicious Thai food that you will not regret.
8. Get A Private Pool Or Be Right Near The Beach!
Holiday Inn is the Phi Phi hotel that will offer you a wide variety of rooms! We were lucky to have our own Ocean Sunset Pool Villa which was absolutely dreamy. However, you can choose from a few other accommodation options – my personal favorite of the others were the Beachfront Bungalow and Coral Beach Studio – both meters from the beach.
However, do make sure to book well in advance, as you can imagine how quickly these gorgeous rooms sell out, especially during high season. So don’t hesitate to make a booking!
9. Fabulous Guest Experience
Attention to detail is everything! Usually, before choosing a hotel for my stay at a place, I do thorough research about it. Not just on sites like booking.com or Trip Advisor, but I do check other blogs and customer photos as well. The main thing that attracts me to choosing a hotel is honestly the attention to detail. This is always a sign that the hotel I choose would offer the best customer service and hotel experience I can find in the area.
