1. Most Instagrammable Secret Bar in London: The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town
Even though London has many secret bars, The Mayor of Scaredy Cat Town is definitely one of the best hidden secret bars and most Instagrammable restaurants in London! We knew what to do before our visit, but we still had a super hard time finding this London underground pub. The trick is – look for The Breakfast Club – the secret bar is inside it.
Once you enter The Breakfast Club, ask the waiter to “see the Mayor”. When you say this password, a waiter will open up a fridge and urge you to go inside it! Don’t be scared, it’s kind of like the Doctor’s TARDIS – bigger on the inside! Now that you’ve entered this great place to drink in London, make sure you order the nachos – they’re delicious!
2. Most Instagrammable Flower Coffee Shop in London: Peggy Porschen Cakes
Okay, I’ll admit it. Over the past few years this has definitely become a usual place to see in London. But it’s so instagrammable that you can’t miss it! The lines to get a tasty pastry are usually long, especially on the weekends, and there is even a separate line just to take a shot with the entrance! Peggy’s is very tiny coffee shop in London – it only has a few tables, so it would be even harder to get an actual table – you’re better off getting take away and snapping for your Insta profile 🙂
3. Most Instagrammable Flower Pub in London: Churchill Arms
If you’d very much like to visit a typical English pub, but you also want it to have a hint of magic – visit Churchill Arms! It’s a pretty famous pub among Londoners, but since it’s not right in the London center – it’s not close to the main attractions. This means that you are more likely to meet more locals there than tourists, which makes it one of the best places to drink in the city – and one of the most instargammable restaurants in London too 🙂
4. Most Instagrammable Bar with Panoramic View in London: Sky Garden
The Sky Garden is one of the top bards in London with a view! It’s not a hidden bar, but the views from it are just breathtaking – it doesn’t matter if you visit during the day or at night. This bar also has some of nature’s touch – trees and greenery are all around it, so you’ll really feel like you’re in a magical London wonderland!
5. Most Instagrammable Fun Coffee Shop in London: Lady Dinah’s Cat Emporium
Are you a cat lover?? Well, this fun cafe in London is swamped with cuddly kittens! Bear in mind you’d need to make a reservation well ahead of your visit, as it’s usually pretty full. You can pet the kittens and play with them using one of the numerous toys laying around. And THEY. ARE. SO. FLUFFY! The caretakers take extremely good care of them, you are even asked to wash your hands before you enter. The underground floor is even themed like Alice in Wonderland, and the cats roam the tree tunnels all around <3 I absolutely loved this place on my list of most instagrammable restaurants in London!
6. Most Instagrammable Magical Restaurant in London: Clos Maggiore, Covent Garden

If you haven’t had enough of London’s magic – visit the Clos Maggiore in Covent Garden! The restaurant is pretty fancy, so you need to be properly dressed (no sneakers!). Make a booking online and have a perfect romantic London date. A typical meal will cost you about 40-50 GBP, though, so be prepared to spend a bit more for this night out. However, the higher budget is absolutely worth it, as it’s one of the best places to eat in London!
7. Most Instagrammable Pastry Shop in London: Dominique Ansel Bakery
Um… YUM! This famous chef’s pastry shop is actually very close to Peggy Porchen’s, but the lines are much, much smaller! It doesn’t matter what you order – it’s absolutely impossible for you to be disappointed. This off the beaten path place to visit in London is worth spoiling your diet for. Trust me! <3
8. Best View of Saint Paul’s Cathedral: Madison, One New Change Center
I’ve been to this bar a few times, and not just because I’m hopelessly in love with Saint Paul’s 🙂 Both at night and during the day, you won’t be disappointed by seeing the famous London cathedral from one of the best places to grab a drink in London! This bar is a bit off the beaten path and it’s also affordable considering that unforgettable view (you can even see The London Eye in the distance!). Lately, they’ve taken decoration very seriously, and you’ll often see different themes, lanterns and gorgeous flowers <3
To get to Madison, you have to enter the shopping center called One New Change, and then take the panoramic elevator up.
9. Best Fun Lunch Restaurant in London: Coppa Club
Even though dinner might be even more spectacular at the cute igloos of Coppa Club near Tower Bridge, it’s super hard to get a reservation (and they’re only open during winter)! Luckily, during lunch on weekdays, they wake walk-ins. We decided to try our luck at an early November afternoon and we weren’t disappointed – the food was delicious and the prices were excellent! There are usually 2 small tables inside every igloo, and the unique experience definitely puts it as one of the top places to eat in London.
